Impressive JRU
Today I watched the NCAA game of JRU vs. PCU. And we won, 60-58. I remember that exact moment when that 2-point shot (the one that placed us in the lead) was scored… at 01.4 seconds!! I think at that particular moment, everyone stopped cheering and just stared at the ball as it was going to the basket. And when na-shoot nga, everyone started jumping up and down (even our PE teacher… lol)
I think I’m having more confidence in our Heavy Bombers. Imagine, after losing their first two games (ugh), they won 5 straight games! 
And they beat San Beda! That was what I was thinking after our game and the San Beda-Letran game started, I was kinda cheering for Letran because we beat San Beda! The lion is not invincible.
I’m not a basketball expert, but I’m a big fan of NCAA (because it’s whre my school is) and yun, I hope we win! Yun lang! Gosh.

Bakit ganun… SCENARIO: Breakup.
When a guy initiates it, and the girl says she still loves him and doesn’t want him to leave, the guy ignores it anyway at break na sila.
But when a girl does it, and the guy says he still loves her, she gives in and the relationship continues.
Pride ba yan ng lalaki? Is that proof na hindi talaga pinapakinggan ang mga babae?
Sucky.

This is the newest online game I’ve encountered. I was hanging out in an Internet cafe when I was approached and asked if I wanted to join a game like the popular one Audition.
So I agreed, because I couldn’t play Audition anymore…. So I registered and played for one hour for free.
It was pretty great. The concept is much the same (punch arrows and press the space bar) but it had a lot more features, like rooms with a set theme, interactions between players, and cool songs.
And it’s new, so it’s fun to level up. Mega cool. I can learn from pressing keys.

Out there
I’m back. I haven’t been around for long because of our prelim exams. Heto na ang aking mga comments.
Law (taken last Wednesday) – It wasn’t bad. But I know I made some mistakes because of my absentmindedness.
Finance – GOD I think I’m gonna fail this. 
Management – Exempted!!!
Economics – Pretty easy because I’ve studied this back in high school. But I still cheated. Hehehe.
Computer – Online exam, not bad either but the acronyms were awful. Meaning we weren’t even told to study for them. Grrrr. I’m guilty of attempted cheating. Hehehe. Attempt nga lang.
Accounting I and II (taken today) – Not as bad as I thought it would be. But I’m not 100% sure if I got the problems right. Syempre they could be trick questions. Since another professor made the questions, we were definitely at a disadvantage. There were some stuff we didn’t take up which I guessed and a LOT of them applied to our math of investment which I forgot. Like getting the present value of an annuity. Oh well.
Well I’ve violated my own privacy and given YOU all of my subjects. Hahaha.
I’ve been having colds and cough for a week now. It’s really embarrassing. I hate blowing my nose in front of everyone.

Twenty two is love.
The concept of “monthsary” seemed totally corny to me back then… it was three years ago.
My seatmate was making a card that said “Happy 3rd monthsary” or something like that. Basta it had that word in it. Of course, I just kept quiet, but I inwardly rolled my eyes. So couples can’t last even a year these days…
Now, I have celebrated it 22 times. OK, make it 20. One was our anniversary, and we haven’t celebrated this monthsary… yet. He had no classes today. OK. So I’ve tolerated the concept of “monthsary” by now, along with a hundred other things that seemes so alien to me before.
Note: recently, I’ve heard of “weeksary” and “daysary”. Ohh my God. It’s gotten cornier than ever.

This is the last week of membership for our org. It’s unbelievable how boring it gets, sitting in our booth with no one signing up. Okaaay maybe a person or two did sign up.
I’ve read this book called “The Grapes of Wrath”. There is this part where the main family gets engaged in cotton picking. In the first round, they get a lot of cotton (therefore a lot of wages) but the second time around, it’s more difficult to get cotton, they end up getting very thin strands because the fields have been exhausted by the first picking.
As I sat in our table, I thought of that. Very few people are signing on now. But I’ve heard of so many people saying “Magpapamember ako diyan” so I just wait and hope. Besides, it’s just until tomorrow.
Then, we get to do the REALLY exciting stuff.

July 8, 2008 – Red Shirt Day
Mukhang may mga aktibista na dito.
What happened? Yesterday, a bunch of people wore red shirts and gathered in front of the stage (on one side of our school quadrangle) in a silent protest. Before that, they were asking for support and asking for students to wear red too. OF COURSE I didn’t wear red, I was afraid something would happen to me (I wore our PE uniform).
I saw them on stage at around 3pm. It was pretty freaky. Everyone was watching them and a lot of guards and the head officers of the school were out there. The protesters were insisting that they wanted no chaos, but look at what they did.
I think what they’re trying to protest is pretty stupid. A lot of them came from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, a PUBLIC school known for their very low tuition fees… of course, the rest is subsidized by the government.
So they transferred from there to here. We are a PRIVATE and deregulated school, and they are protesting because of our tuition fee increase. Get the picture? Why did they transfer here? They should be expelled, if you ask me.

I’m so proud. My sister is now the editor-in-chief of the high school newsletter. So proud! But she’s being more of a bitch than ever. Not in terms of being arrogant, but in terms of being mataray.
Imagine if, and only if, I become the editor-in-chief of our college letter? Just a thought.

Just a word for stupid.
I am currently depressed. Yesterday, my boyfriend lent me his hamster (omg) and after a lot of reluctance, I agreed. I had a great time playing with him and his cuteness (hahaha). My sister loved him too. But I was worried coz he was soooo active and he kept on biting everything on sight.
This morning, I kinda panicked because he got out of his shoebox, he ran out of food, and we couldn’t get food downstairs because my parents were there and they didn’t know we were keeping a hamster in the room. God I had a panic attack. I disturbed my BF from his sleep and he talked me down. Good.
But now, it’s even worse. I got home a little late because I was kinda pushed to try out for the Journal (yup I tried it out, and I hope I don’t get to be editor-in-chief). So around 3:30 I got home… and OMG. Peanut (the hamster) got out of the shoebox again. Apparently, he chewed through the biggest hole I re-punched which was the size of a pencil. The little bites of the cardboard were still inside the shoebox, and he managed to get out. OMG.
Oh course, I panicked, and I hunted for him while cleaning our chronically dirty room. Oh no oh no oh no. Then I called my boyfriend and cried. I was soooo sorry. Peanut was his first hamster and the one to stay the longest, I remembered that 3 other hamsters died and he was still alive, and he was really cute and outgoing which was the reason why my BF loves him. His chatnick in our textclan was even Peanut.
But it’s forgivable, I know, I told him we’ll buy another hamster one of these days because I just got my allowance from my scholarship (weeeeeee).
But for now, he is still officially missing, and I left a tiny bit of Stik-O (his favorite) and now I’m hoping that he’ll come back… please come back!

Aside from being stupid, I feel really down in the dumps.
My 2 friends got full academic scholarships because of the average for the second sem last school year (1.4 for both). My average was WAAAAAY lower than that (but still enough to keep my scholarship ). Yup, I already have a scholarship. But it’s still depressing.
