Crazy UP entry and others
Read this.
UP was my dream school pa naman. Lol. Thought it was noble and everything. But the way UP students commented and flamed each other gave me a bad impression. It’s kinda ridiculous how they’ve made such a big deal on three words: Iskolar ng Bayan. Gosh. It’s just three words.
I also can’t believe that people would take UP centennial as an opportunity to blast the supposedly premier school in our country, and one that bears our country’s name, no less.
But whatever. I don’t like debates unless it’s with my BF. I especially don’t like debates with people I don’t know. And I thought blogging was supposed to be fun, unless you want to divulge corporate secrets.

I’m not the editor-in-chief.
Gosh. I hate it when I expect something and it doesn’t happen. I hate it even more when everyone expects something to happen to me and it doesn’t happen.
But I’m relieved, in a way. I’m kinda freaking out from all those activists in our school. And from the outright responsibility that the position entails.
Besides, our new EIC (Ate Beth) is pretty wise/smart/intelligent. I trust her.
BTW I’m the associate editor.
grades
Just gonna give the percentage equivalent.
Management – 95
Law – 95
Computer – 95
Economics – 95
Financial Accounting 2 – 95
Financial Accounting 1 – 91
Finance – 90
Kinda monotonous.
runescape
On a brighter note… Happy anniversary to me!! I’ve been playing Runescape from a year now. I’ve been transformed from total noob to noob-killer. I’ve mastered the art, baby.
My combat level is now 74. What will it be another year from now?
Runescape clans.
As in any MMORPG, there are clans in Runescape. And guess what? I have joined two.
The first one was a UK-based clan called the Crimson Templars… I joined when I was level 43 combat. But I quit because there was a flame war and the people there were doing their best to make other people feel bad, in my opinion.
The second one was called Aureolias. It closed down.
I am still looking for a Pinoy clan but the level requirements for the ones I saw are too high. So I guess I’ll have to train first, but I REALLY wanna join one!!
Darn darn darn…
Decision
I will try, as much as possible, to make this blog as pure in English as possible… But sorry if I let the occasional Tagalog slip out sometimes. Pinoy ako eh. Hehehe

Now what? It looks like the Lakers won Game 3 of the Finals. So it’s 2-1 already. But hey, I think that if the Celtics win even one game in the LA court, they will definitely win.
This is getting me excited for the NCAA games here! Even though I highly doubt that JRU will win this season.
A little something about Runescape
Ok. Aside from blogging and maintaining accounts in Friendster, etc., I play this games called Runescape (pronounced as ROON-skaip). But you may ask, what is it anyway?
To quote Wikipedia…
RuneScape is a Java-based MMORPGoperated by Jagex Ltd. It has approximately five million active free accounts and more than one million paid member accounts. It is a browser-based game with some degree of 3d rendering.
RuneScape was created by Andrew Gower, the creator of DeviousMUD, the forerunner to RuneScape, in 1998. Rewritten and renamed, the first version of RuneScape was released to the public on 4 January 2001. Since its release, the game has been noted for its free-playing option, its simple interface, and its accessibility on most web browsers. RuneScape takes place in the fantasy-themed realm of Gielinor, which is divided into several different kingdoms, regions, and cities. Players can travel throughout Gielinor on foot, by using magical teleportation spells and devices, or mechanical means of transportation. Each region offers different types of monsters, materials, and quests to challenge players.
Like many other MMORPGs, there is no linear path that must be followed. Players are shown on the screen as customizable avatars, setting their own goals and objectives. Players can engage in combat with other players or monsters, complete quests, or increase their experience in any of the available skills. Players interact with each other through trading, chatting, or playing combative or cooperative mini-games.
Well that’s it in a nutshell. The actual game is disgustingly complicated, yet you will not get bored with it if you actually like the game. There are skills nga, and games, etc. etc. The aim is to be as rich and to get as high a level as possible.
This game is available to anyone, but you can pay to access more features (mga 600 pesos a month daw). Pero even with the “limited” features of the free Runescape world, you can still do a lot there.
The only bad thing about it is that medyo pangit ang graphics niya. But I don’t look at that, I’m there for the game!
Pictures to come next time… medyo bangag ako eh. Sorry.
